Against All Odds-----the Making of the Black Farmer Movement (Expanded Follow Up)

This is the second of a two-part series in which Robbie Hutchens and I discuss implications of the growing model that is useful in explaining the complexities of the Black Farmer Movement. We think that an adaptation of the ecomap can be very useful for both explaining and intervening.

In our first discussion led by Lawrence Lucas, President Emeritus of the USDA Coalition of Minority Employees, we focused on the nuances of the model itself. In this session, we expand our foci and discuss applications and interventions.

Our focus is always on understanding, grasping the truth of a situation, and then striving for justice. We live and breathe for justice for Black farmers of our land. We will not rest until we see justice come to pass.

Here is the second discussion with some brilliant activists, young and middle age, and even older.

Enjoy. Let us know what you think about it.
